The letters of acceptance have come in. Our precious Woods Cross 2012 seniors are getting ready to leave the school they have known for the past three years. As they plan which college they will attend, they are also trying to finish up last minute details for graduation. They’ve ordered their caps and gowns. All there is left for them is to finish is these next few weeks, before their senioritis takes them out completely.  On the other side of the spectrum, we have the small freshmen, who are more than ready to be exposed to what Woods Cross has to offer. Sophomores are done being the newbies in the school. Most importantly, how could we ever forget, our juniors who will take the all-important, honorable role, as the SENIORS of Woods Cross High School 2013.

The seniors this year have left their legacy on our school. Eleven of our school’s Sterling Scholars made it to State this year! We also have people like Cassidy Hills who got a 35 on the ACT. They have left their legacies on our sports teams, leading them to the championships. Not to mention our music department! Almost all of our award-winning madrigals are seniors. Tears were shed as some seniors had their last show for dinner theatre.  Are the new seniors going to be able to fill their shoes? This will be your last year of high school so live it up. Make your legacy for years and years to come. Whether it’s your face in the trophy cases, or up on the high scorers for the ACT, bring your skills to Woods Cross so we can have a great 2013 school year!
