This season has been a great for the Wildcat baseball team, since they’ve had so many wins. After a rocky start, the Cats have pulled together a winning record of 15 – 6 under Tyler Hardie, their hard hitter, and Jack Kocherhans, their pitcher. The two of them have great records. Tyler has 1 home run, and 10 doubles, and Jake has a 4 – 1 record as a pitcher.

Earlier in the Cat’s season, they played the Clearfield Falcons both at Woods Cross and at Clearfield in the same day. They started at home against the Falcons but lost by one point, 9 – 8. Even though they lost the Cats still pulled together some great stats with Brady Cowley hitting a triple, Jake Kocherhans hitting a home run, Josh Hunt hitting a double, and Shaden Fisher hitting a double. In the second game against the Falcons, they played at Clearfield, and Woods Cross pulled off a 7 – 6 victory, under Shaden Fisher’s pitching, and Brady Cowley’s double.

In the last game they played against the East High Leopards at East, and pulled off a 18 – 13 victory over the Leopards under Tyler Hardie’s three doubles, Jake Kocherhans’ pitching, and his triple. The Cats pulled off twenty hits in the game, while the Leopards left with five hits and 6 errors.

The next game is against the Cyprus High Pirates at Cyprus. This game is for the region title to break a tie with the Braves, but since we hold the tie breaker, we need to win this game so that we can win the region title. We need all the support that we can get from our school, so go and support the school at 3:30 at Cyprus High at this important game!
